Know2Protect is a national public awareness campaign sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to raise awareness about the rapidly escalating threat of online child sexual exploitation and abuse.  Know2Protect educates kids, parents, trusted adults, policymakers, and the broader public about online threats and empower them to help keep kids safe online.  Know2Protect explains how to report victimization and offer resources for victims and survivors of online child sexual exploitation. 

Know2Protect's website, know2protect.gov, is the go-to federal clearinghouse to educate the public about online child sexual abuse.

Homeland Security Investigations is the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, responsible for investigating transnational crime and threats, specifically those criminal organizations that exploit the global infrastructure through which international trade, travel, and finance move.  HSI investigates, dismantles, and disrupts terrorist, transnational, and other criminal organizations that threaten or seek to exploit the customs and immigration laws of the United States.
