This presentation offers a comprehensive analysis of a case study originating from Omaha, Nebraska, shedding light on the intricate dynamics of trafficking in the heartland. Attendees will gain insights into the experiences of two juvenile females who were exploited in the commercial sex trade. Highlighted within this session is the vulnerability of survivors, providing a understanding of the challenges they face and the resilience they demonstrate. Moreover, the presentation underscores the collaborative efforts between local and federal law enforcement entities, showcasing effective coordination that resulted in the successful conviction of four trafficking suspects and two commercial sex buyers.
