Artificial Intelligence (AI) is providing us with amazing benefits, but as with many technological advances, there are bad actors that are finding ways to exploit and abuse that new technology. Our children are now facing new dangers due to generative AI (G-AI) such as creation or manipulation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and harmful content, whether for sexual gratification purposes, bullying purposes, or sextortion intent. This workshop will discuss the dangerous behaviors involving AI-generated child sexual abuse material or AI-enhanced tactics individuals are attempting that will victimize children. Impacts on our children will also be discussed, as well as considerations for responses to victims.
