This workshop is designed to demonstrate how clinicians can integrate a multitude of approaches that weave together body, mind, and emotion-focused therapy, by integrating a 7-step integrative approach. The presenter will provide an overview of how to assess, conceptualize, create treatment plans, and offer best practices for trauma therapy for children and adolescents as well as emphasize the importance of self-regulation, both inside and outside of therapy sessions.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will feel more confident in being able to assess and conceptualize clients in order to help inform the direction of treatment
Participants will better understand dissociation, mood dysregulation, and ways to engage the client's nervous system to aid in healing
Participants will walk away with tangible resources to aid in treating trauma in children and adolescents in an integrative and trauma informed way
