The instructor will provide statistics, case examples, and suggestions, based on research and experience, on responding to a report of a missing child or child abduction. The FBI's Child Abduction Response Plan (CARP) will be introduced, and various investigative tools, such as Victimology, Neighborhood Investigations, and Roadblock Canvasses will be discussed. The instructor will provide the participants with the necessary tools needed to be prepared to respond to a call of a missing child, and also inform them of other resources the FBI can offer, such as the Behavioral Analysis Unit, cell phone analysis, polygraphs, evidence recovery, and more. Case examples will be provided throughout the presentation, and electronic copies of the CARP will be provided to attendees.
