The anguish of a missing child is immeasurable. In today's digital age, however, technology offers a flicker of hope. This presentation explores how advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and facial recognition, coupled with advanced legal processes, can be invaluable tools in recovery. Children today leave digital footprints across social media, online games, and messaging platforms. These hidden accounts, unknown to parents or law enforcement, can hold crucial clues to their whereabouts. Their online abductors and sometimes the children themselves, have unknown cell phones. This presentation will discuss how these advancements can be used locate them, all while protecting everyone’s civil rights and liberties.
