A child properly prepared for court has the ability to testify competently, confidently and without fear. Likewise, a court properly prepared to accommodate a child witness makes for a much friendlier environment for the child. Properly preparing children for court and the courtroom for children requires times, patience and knowledge of the child and the court. This workshop will explore ways in which putting the time into both makes for a smoother, less trauma-induced and more successful trial experience.
