There are practical and legal considerations when exploring the use of closed-circuit television testimony with child victims; however, there are those instances where the use of CCTV may be the only alternative available. This presentation will go through a case the presenter worked with a 4-year-old victim of child sexual abuse, where the perpetrator was her biological father. They will discuss how the decision was made, how the strict standard of the use of CCTV was met in court and the practical applications of using CCTV during a jury trial.
