This presentation will be a case study of the investigation and apprehension of a prolific cyber terrorist, but from the perspective of a small-town law enforcement officer. Hernandez was a very disciplined cybercriminal who exploited hundreds of children, and threatened mass violence and interrupted the regular function of society when he did not get what he wanted. So, what do you do when the investigation in front of you seems impossible? This session will focus on trying everything possible to find justice for victims, even when the odds are low you will ever succeed.
