Al Killen-Harvey, LCSW has worked at the Chadwick Center for 30 years as a trauma treatment therapist, Reflective Supervisor and trainer. Co-founder of The Harvey Institute, an organization whose mission is improving health care outcomes through the integration of sexual health which received the Mayo Clinic's 2022 “William Friedrich Lectures Series” Award for its’ innovative work in bridging the gap between sexual trauma and sexual health. An Advisory Board member of the Children’s Advocacy Centers of California and co-chairperson of the Sexual Health subcommittee for the NCTSN, he has served as an expert witness for the U.S. Army and the San Diego District Attorney’s Office in the prosecution of sexual abuse cases, and also received the Community Collaborators Award from the San Diego LGBT Center.
