Leigh Brooks is a Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation where she has served since 2001. Her career in law enforcement began in 1995 as a Patrol Officer in Columbus, GA. Her experience includes investigating homicides and major felonies, while specializing in crimes against children investigations. She is a graduate of Columbus State University receiving a Master’s degree in Public Administration and has attended nationally recognized trainings in the field of homicides, child death investigations, and crimes against children investigations. Leigh has testified in court on numerous occasions, provides instruction to local and state law enforcement at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center and throughout the country, and teaches child death investigations for the GBI Basic Agent Academy.
