John Penn II, Senior Architect for Law Enforcement Technologies at Adobe, Inc in San Jose, California. He has spent over four decades writing software and over 25 years at Adobe including working as a Senior Computer Scientist on Photoshop. Focusing on the role software can play in the prevention and investigation of internet crimes against children, John has helped develop advanced victim identification tools and techniques and train law enforcement around the world on their implementation. He currently works with governments, law enforcement, non-profits and industry around the world on tackling the technical challenges associated with combatting crimes against children. John’s is dedicated to supporting the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in Alexandria, Virginia in his role as a board member.
