Jim Tanner (he/him/his)

Jim Tanner has been a justice system professional since 1970. His applied experience includes probation services, treatment programs, operating secure detention facilities, halfway houses for juveniles and adults, day reporting centers, and developing computer forensics. He is a nationally recognized authority on grooming, sex offender management and sex offenders in a digital world. Jim is sworn staff and serves as a Cyber Crime Analyst for the Twentieth Judicial District of Colorado. The American Probation and Parole Association named Jim as the 2017 recipient of the University of Cincinnati Award in Corrections, recognizing his lifetime contributions to the field of Corrections in the United States and Canada. Dr. Tanner presents to national and international audiences of "alphabet agencies" on a regular basis.
