Jerri Sites has over 30 years of experience in the field of child abuse investigations. She provides trauma-informed, research-based training and technical assistance to multidisciplinary teams, children’s advocacy centers, and child serving professionals throughout the United States. Jerri testifies as an expert on the topics of recantation, grooming, process of disclosure, and national standards for best practice in child abuse investigations. In recent years, she has served as the author of eLearning modules for Evidentia Learning’s MDT Series, produced research to practice publications related to the MDT/CAC approach to child maltreatment, and developed curriculum and train the trainer projects in collaboration with various children’s advocacy center state chapters. Her mission: To empower professionals to improve the system's response to child abuse.
