Program Specialist, Child Sex Trafficking Programs

Sara Palmer is a Program Specialist within NCMEC’s Child Sex Trafficking Programs and has worked for the Analytical Services Division since 2011. With a primary focus on gang-related cases, Sara brings experience and resources to all divisions at NCMEC with an emphasis on gang-affiliation as an endangerment to missing and exploited children. She has presented on various gang-related topics to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as various task force meetings and international conferences. Sara is also an adjunct professor in Marymount University’s Forensic and Legal Psychology graduate program, where she teaches a class on the Psychology of Criminal Behavior. Sara holds a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from MU, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.
