Carolina graduated from Drexel University with a master’s in forensic science in 2012 and has worked as a Bilingual Forensic Interviewer at the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance since 2015, becoming the Lead Forensic Interviewer in 2019. Carolina uses a research-based protocol to gather information from children in a developmentally-appropriate and culturally-sensitive manner. In her time at PCA, Carolina has completed over 2,000 interviews in English and Spanish. Prior to PCA, Carolina worked as a Youth Services Coordinator in a Latina Domestic Violence Program providing counseling and education to children who witnessed violence in the home. Carolina enjoys working children and is passionate about providing a safe place for children to begin their healing.
