Justin Fitzsimmons serves as an Associate Vice President at NW3C. He trains at international, national, state, and local conferences on the role of digital evidence in criminal investigations and prosecutions, focusing on sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, and technology-facilitated exploitation of children. He also works as a part-time Assistant State’s Attorney with the Lake County State's Attorney's Office in Illinois. In addition, Justin has published papers, book chapters, and law review articles on child sexual exploitation and emerging technological issues. He has served as a member of national working groups to develop responses to technology-facilitated crimes and develop strategies to educate the public. He is the past president of the National Children’s Alliance board of directors. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois.
