Doswell Foundation Medical Liaison Coordinator
Dallas Children's Advocacy Center
Kelsey Moore began her work in the field with adults who have experienced human trafficking and substance dependence before finding her love for the children's advocacy center (CAC) model at the New Orleans CAC. Upon moving home to Dallas in 2017, Kelsey began working as a family advocate at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) where her main role was to conduct trauma screenings and engage with children and/or their caregivers. In April of 2023, Kelsey shifted to the role of Doswell Foundation Medical Liaison Coordinator, a new position created to enhance client access to trauma-informed medical care. Since the development of this new program, more DCAC clients have received expert care and reassurance from medical professionals to contribute to their physical and mental wellness.
