Jillian Shainman

Forensic Interviewer
Philadelphia Children's Alliance

Jillian Shainman graduated with her MSW from University of Pennsylvania in 2017, and has been working at Philadelphia Children's Alliance (PCA) for the last five years. She has conducted around 1500 interviews of children regarding allegations of sexual and physical abuse, and witnessing homicides, overdoses, and domestic violence. Jillian has had the opportunity to train new interviewers at PCA, as well as to conduct trainings with the Defender's Association, the District Attorney's Office, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Jillian enjoys learning from her colleagues at PCA, SVU, DHS, and the DA's office, and is constantly striving to improve her craft and to build strong cases for the children and families she serves.
