Carlos Rubio graduated from the University of Texas-Arlington in 2021 with a master’s in social work after completing his bachelor’s in human development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas in 2016. Carlos’ background has been in Early Childhood Education and Higher Education before coming to the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center where he completed his internship in Family Advocacy to later joining the Family Advocate Team in 2020. He has over four years of experience in the child abuse field in providing education and hope to the families and children DCAC serves. In his current role as a Training and Community Outreach Specialist, he will continue to provide education on abuse dynamics, keeping children safe and other areas for advocacy of children.
