Ayisha Cretney-Reney is a Senior Intelligence Analyst and has been with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) since 2015 starting her career with Criminal Intelligence Services Canada (CISC) located at our National headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario. Her main focus at CISC was on serious and organized crime, then she pivoted to working for the RCMP Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Inquiry team before joining the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crime Centre (NCECC) in 2019. In the NCECC Ayisha has worked on many complex investigations including but not limited to Darkweb offenders, traveling child sex offenders and Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremist (IMVE)-related child exploitation files, in addition to conducting trend analysis on the topics of sextortion, and Deep fake/AI generated child sexual abuse material.
