Senior Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney

Alycia Eldridge is the Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Rockingham County and the City of Harrisonburg, where she supervises the Sex Crimes and Crimes Against Children Unit. She has been a faculty member with the Commonwealth’s Attorneys’ Services Council since 2012, and is on the faculty of that organization’s statewide child abuse and exploitation conference “Sound of Silence.” She also regularly presents at trainings for prosecutors and multidisciplinary conferences. Alycia was the 2018 recipient of the Virginia S. Duvall Distinguished Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court Prosecutor Award. Since 2009, she has also been an Adjunct Professor at James Madison University where she teaches Criminal Law.
