Sarah Smith, APRN, CPNP-PC, is a Nurse Practitioner with Children’s Center of Clackamas County in Oregon City, OR. She obtained her formal training in child abuse through the Midwest Regional Medical Academy on Child Physical and Sexual Abuse in 2020 and has over ten years’ experience at the advanced practice level in pediatrics. Sarah has been with Children’s Center since 2021 where she conducts medical examinations for children who have been suspected of maltreatment and provides fact and expert witness testimony. She not only attends regional and national conferences, but has also given presentations to local agencies, at the Oregon Child Abuse Solutions Conference in Bend, OR, and at the APSAC conference in Denver, CO in 2023.
