Forensic Psychologist
Dr. Kristi Compton, Ph.D.
Kristi Compton obtained a Ph.D. from Wichita State University in clinical psychology. She received specialized training in forensic psychology through an internship in Kingston County, New York and post-doctoral training in a super max unit of El Dorado Correctional Facility. She has served as a clinical supervisor at an MHMR and in the prison system in Kansas. She currently practices in the north Texas area and has evaluated over 5,000 defendants charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanor offenses to capital murder. She is an UTD adjunct professor and teaches forensic psychology.
