Zero Abuse Project
Tyler Council has over a decade of experience in public and private laboratories. He is a seasoned professional who has held roles such as Microbiologist, DNA Specialist, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager. His recent work as a Forensic Scientist with the Indiana State Police Laboratory Division showcased expertise in DNA testing, drug analysis, firearms, and crime scene investigation. Tyler also serves as Chief Deputy Coroner in Daviess County, Indiana, excelling in medico-legal death investigation. In higher education, he has been an Associate Professor and Departmental Chair for Child Advocacy Studies, Criminal Justice, and Forensic Science. As an educator and first responder, Tyler is committed to advancing child advocacy, providing experiential training, and directing CAST initiatives for Zero Abuse Project.
