State of Illinois State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor
Crystal Uhe is a Special Prosecutor for the Illinois State’s Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor’s Office and has worked as a criminal prosecutor since 2007. She began her career as an Assistant State’s Attorney at the Madison County, Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office in 2007. She was promoted to First Assistant State’s Attorney in 2019 at which time Crystal supervised the Violent Crimes Division, the Children’s Justice Division as well overseeing the office's participation in the Madison County Veteran’s Court, Mental Health Court, Drug Court, and the Domestic Violence Accountability Court. She continued prosecuting Violent Crimes in 2021 for the St. Clair County, Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office before beginning work as a Special Prosecutor throughout the State in November 2021.
