Child abuse, by its very nature, often presents with very limited evidence. This workshop will not only explore creative ways to corroborate child abuse allegations, but also how to effectively highlight and present the available evidence to a jury and successfully secure a conviction. Participants will learn to look at available evidence in a different way, understand how to build upon available evidence to create a compelling argument for the jury, and how to effectively utilize expert witnesses.
Learning Objectives:
Understand how to effectively highlight and present the available evidence to a jury and successfully secure a conviction
Learn to look at available evidence in a different ways to highlight the inherent value
Work with experts both before and during trial to evaluate the available evidence and educate the jury
