Supervisory Special Agent FBI/Behavioral Analysis Unit - 3 Crimes Against Children
With advances in science, such as investigative genealogy, the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) has seen an increase in referrals of cases involving unsolved newborn homicide/neonaticide. By highlighting the BAU’s research on the homicides of newborns, the presenters will discuss the behavioral trends and patterns among offenders, the unique legal considerations that often must be considered, and the importance of utilizing specific interview strategies which often lead to successful prosecution outcomes.
