This workshop is designed for the expert and lay (fact) witness and will "demystify" the trial process. It will address and explain the different layers of action in the courtroom, how to "read" it and how to effectively respond. issues such as preparation, body language, the importance of what you say and how you say it, effective presentation, the concept of "trial as theatre", establishing a level of comfort in the courtroom, how to defend yourself on cross examination and how to protect yourself in the witness box (when no one else will). The more comfortable and confident a witness is in the courtroom, the more effective their testimony will be.
